Industry's Leading Event to Draw IT Managers, Developers

Portland, Ore., Jan. 15 2002--The InfiniBand Trade Association today announced the fifth InfiniBand Solutions Conference will be held April 9-11 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. This conference will bring together leaders in InfiniBand development and IT managers from across the country.

"As the deployment of InfiniBand solutions draws near, it becomes more and more important that IT managers learn how InfiniBand architecture will dramatically alter data centers," said Tom Macdonald, co-chair of the Steering Committee of the InfiniBand Trade Association and General Manager, Advanced Components Division, Intel Corporation. "By attending our conferences, leading IT managers can get a jump start on the latest innovations taking place in the industry."

The multi-company sponsored conference is expected to feature a solutions focused agenda including a full-day of training for IT managers interested in InfiniBand Architecture. In addition, a day of panels hosted by industry experts and featuring panelists from every segment of the InfiniBand development and user communities will highlight much of the advances taking place in the development community. Over thirty member companies are also expected to exhibit their InfiniBand product development plans in the event's showcase arena.
