Nimbus Data Leverages RDMA Switches

In March, Nimbus Data announced its 10-node clustered all-flash array, which leverages RDMA-based iSER and SRP for ultra-low latency. Flash Directors are deployed in pairs for redundancy, each featuring a non-blocking 320 Gb/s RDMA switch. This RDMA-powered, all-flash array can store up to 96TB in a single box.

For more information, read the following article from The Register’s Chris Mellor: Hey, Nimbus Data. What you doin' with those 4TB flash slabs? Making a 96TB box? We KNEW it!.
